Industrial automation · Orzesze, Poland
Controller, application and data in one pair of hands.
I program PLCs, build MES systems and integrate software with machines and production processes. One person who understands both the controller and the application, so you do not have to translate between the automation engineer and the developer.
Services
Four areas, one person responsible for the whole.
From requirements analysis and concept, through implementation, to commissioning and technical support. Order one element or the whole chain.
PLC programming
Siemens SIMATIC S7 and TIA Portal, Beckhoff TwinCAT, Codesys: new programs, modifications, diagnostics and modernisation of existing machines, on-site commissioning. 02MES systems
Design and development of MES systems: production data acquisition and processing, integration with PLCs, databases and external systems. 03Industrial software and integration
Custom C#/.NET applications, system services and SQL Server databases that connect machines, controllers and higher-level systems via OPC UA, S7 and TCP/IP. 04Commissioning and technical support
Commissioning of machines and automation systems, diagnosis of hardware and software problems, modernisation of installations, remote and on-site support.Who I work with
I work with the people responsible for keeping production running.
Most often these are plants that have machines and an ERP, with a gap between them filled with paper and spreadsheets.
- 01
Manufacturing plants
Production and maintenance managers who want to see downtime, OEE and plan fulfilment without manual reporting and without a corporate MES budget.
- 02
Integrators and machine builders
Companies short of hands for PLC programming, commissioning at the customer or communication with plant systems. I work as a subcontractor under your brand, also abroad.
- 03
Plants with machines from foreign suppliers
When the supplier is far away and the machine needs a change, a diagnosis or a connection to plant systems, I take over the topic on site.
How I work
Solutions that maintenance can run without me.
Ten years on shop floors taught me that the most expensive system is the one nobody understands after go-live.
- Process first, technology second
- I start by asking which decision the data should support or which problem should disappear. Only then do I choose the protocol, database and screen.
- Controller and application in one pair of hands
- I know both ends of the cable: the program in TIA Portal and the application in C#. There is no blame-shifting between the automation engineer and the developer, because it is the same person.
- Code and documentation stay with you
- You get the sources, program backups, signal lists and instructions. No lock-in to a single supplier.
- Commissioning on the floor, not remotely from an office
- I am at the machine when the system starts and stay for the first shifts until operators stop asking about it.
How we work together
From a conversation to a working system in four steps.
Each stage ends with something you can see and evaluate.
- 01
Requirements analysis
An hour talking about what hurts. For larger projects, a visit to the floor and a review of machines, cabinets and systems.
- 02
Concept and quote
A document with scope, architecture, signal list and schedule. A fixed price for the agreed scope.
- 03
Implementation and tests
The PLC program, application or integration is built in stages. You see progress every week and tests run on your data.
- 04
Commissioning and support
Go-live on the floor, training, a stabilisation period. Then remote or on-site support in an agreed mode.
Example projects
The scope I deliver, shown on concrete examples.
The projects below show typical plant problems and how I solve them. They are marked as examples, not descriptions of specific clients.
Production tracking and OEE on an assembly line
An MES application collecting parts, downtime and scrap from six workstations, with an OEE report for every shift.
C# / .NET · WinForms · SQL Server · OPC UA
Integrating injection moulding machines with ERP
Automatic download of orders from the ERP to the machines and feedback of parts and material consumption, without paper or terminals.
C# / .NET · Windows Service · OPC UA · Euromap 63
Quality control station with full traceability
A workstation application that guides the operator through inspection, records measurement results and links them to the serial number and batch.
C# / .NET · WinForms · SQL Server · Entity Framework
Technologies
The tools I work with every day.
I choose them for the task, not the other way round. If your plant uses something else, I will tell you plainly whether it is a topic for me.

About me
Paweł Jaromin
An engineer with ten years of experience gained on international industrial projects, including in Germany and China: programming, integration and commissioning of machines and production systems. I run JaroMIND Engineering from Orzesze in Silesia and work with plants across Poland and with clients in German-speaking countries.
Contact
Have a line, a machine or data that should talk to each other?
Describe in a few sentences what does not work today or what you want under control. I will tell you whether and how it can be done, no strings attached.
